CONSCIOUS INCERTITUDE

Arabesques of doubt
Dapple the mind
As frenetic search
To never find

Meaning in meaning
To illumine sense
And make comprehensible
Things abstracted and dense.

Yet if pixels of knowing
Bring knowledge to the fore
All is irrevocably subsumed
In yarns and lore

So if knowing is figuring
The lineaments of the universal story
As all attempts at irradiation
Burgeon into inconspicuous glory

Then studded with mnemonics
Of that which masquerades as fact
Leaves illusory incertitude
Inviolably intact

Therefore is reality the story?
Or the story true?
Can only  be apprehended indeterminately
As consciousness is traversed through.
